Nice post Thea. My mother has an expression, "don't cut off your nose to spite your face." Or, how about this one, "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater." he organizers at Pinot Days have basically "shot themselves in the foot" on this one. They are excluding their biggest customers. A wine shop or restaurant has the potential of ordering dozens of cases of your wine. The typical consumer MAY buy a bottle or two. It makes absolutely NO sense to me for them to make this decision.

I would pay EXTRA not to have to drink with the Drunk Ho's! And on a separate rant, why is the question so often asked, :What is the differnece between Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc"? Nicely put, Thea!

Hear! Hear! I know that the wine bloggers here have had to beat on the organizers for invites to the trade tasting of the Cincinnati Wine Festival and like-minded events. A lot of folks still haven't wrapped their heads around the social media revolution. Just keep bringin' the ballpeen hammers and I'll hold the spikes to their foreheads for ya!
