To see the power of Social Media at work was both exciting and gratifying. Whether it was a tasting event to promote a particular wine region, a launch to celebrate a new social network, or a tweetup which is essentially a meetup with tweeting, events like these “puts the Social back in to social media,” a quote I borrowed from Thea Dwelle’s blog Luscious Lushes.
Indeed. It was a great event, and Mondavi was the icing on the cake. The fact that they were OPEN to it was really key - and the product was excellent. They pulled out the stops and we were able to taste many exclusives in a setting that bypassed the tasting room madness. Well done indeed!

Sounds like Mondavi is really embracing Social Media. For a brand like theirs, they could do some great thing with it. In the end, customer service and being nice score big points - BUT your product has to be there (content is king). It sounds like they're making some good stuff in addition to their mass produced lines too.

Love this quote: "Treat a customer like a valued friend, and they will come back over and over again."
I couldn't have said it better! It is so incredibly true.
Nice job!
